Nos premiers jours de voyage vus par Noémie, Margaux et Lucas

Our Trip:

When we arrived in London, we walked along the Thames.  We saw London Eye and Big Ben.  Afterwards, we went in front of Buckingham Palace to watch the change of the guards.  Unfortunately there were a lot of people and we couldn’t really see something, though we saw the horses.  After that we ate.  We took a boat to visit London on the Thames.  The guide explained very well and we learnt a lot of things.   We also saw London Bridge and then we got some spare time.  We did some shopping and bought present for our family.  Then we took the bus to meet our host family.

On Wednesday morning, we visited Cambridge and the chapel of King’s college with a guide.  Now we know there are 31 Colleges in Cambridge, King’s college has been started during the reign of Henry VI, but it was completed after the reign of Henry VIII.  After eating, we did punting on the Cam and we saw many ducks, geese and swans.  In order to wait for the bus (during 2 hours), we have had spare time to do some shopping.  But after that, we had to wait for the bus during 15 mores minutes in the cold and this has been very long and boring.
